Key Responsibilities
As a Content Writer at Cisco, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate corporate storytelling and maintain brand voice across global channels:
- Multi-Format Writing: Draft and edit video scripts, blog posts, social media content, executive talking points, presentations, and communications.
- Technical Translation: Simplify complex topics like AI, cybersecurity, networking, and digital infrastructure into accessible, high-impact copy.

Salary & Compensation Structure
The standard baseline salary range for new hires in the U.S. and Canada is $165,200 to $210,600, exclusive of equity or bonuses. Pay is adjusted based on hiring location, experience, market conditions, and qualifications.
Location-Based Salary Ranges
- New York City Metro Area: $165,200 – $240,900 per year
- Non-Metro New York State & Washington State: $145,200 – $211,700 per year
Eligible roles may also participate in Cisco’s annual bonus programs or restricted stock unit (RSU) equity grants.
