Dentsu Senior Copywriter Job: Remote Performance Role
Global media and digital marketing network Dentsu has announced an exciting opening for a temporary Senior Copywriter, Performance Creative. This full-time position bridges the gap between high-level brand strategy and precise, execution-focused customer communication. Offering a competitive hourly rate and remote flexibility for candidates outside major office hubs, this role presents an outstanding opportunity for seasoned marketing professionals with deep roots in financial copywriting.
Position Overview and Compensation
The contract is structured on a W2 basis, with immediate onboarding (“ASAP”) and a duration extending through the end of the calendar year. Positioned within the Dentsu Creative brand, the successful candidate will report directly to the Creative Director of Performance Creative. The position lists a competitive compensation structure tailored to experience and skill set:
- Company / Brand: Dentsu / Dentsu Creative
- Role Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract (W2 Only)
- Pay Range: $35.09 – $53.92 per hour
- Location: Remote (USA – New York / Hub Flex)
- Benefits: Paid holidays (in accordance with dentsu policy), safe time, and sick time. (Not eligible for other standard benefits or alternative compensation).
Core Work Environment and Hybrid Expectations
Dentsu’s operational framework prioritizes flexibility alongside structured collaborative environments. For personnel residing within a commutable distance of designated corporate hubs—including New York City, Chicago, and metro Detroit—the agency mandates an in-office presence three days per week. For those aligned with the Los Angeles hub, a two-day in-office schedule is required. Conversely, professionals living outside these commutable zones are designated as fully remote, ensuring talent acquisition across broader geographical boundaries remains a key priority.
Key Responsibilities
The core functions of the Performance Creative copywriter revolve around driving conversion and clarity through tailored customer communications. Primary assignments focus heavily on direct response mechanisms, including customer emails and direct mail collateral. Key daily functions include:
- Execution-Focused Deliverables: Drafting technical, detail-heavy copy relating to complex account updates, system migrations, and tactical instructional materials.
- Strategic Framework Alignment: Utilizing audience insights and direct-response best practices to craft content tailored to specific demographics and consumer segments.

Mandatory Industry Exposure: To satisfy client compliance and fast-paced deployment cycles, applicants must possess verified experience within the B2C (Business-to-Consumer) sector paired with a robust background in the financial industry. Candidates without financial services experience will not be considered.
Required Qualifications & Technical Toolkit
Candidates must exhibit professional maturity, absolute clarity in communication, and complete proficiency across several key technical platforms. The criteria outline the following baseline expectations:
