Job Overview & Key Responsibilities

As an SEO Content Writer for the world’s largest music retailer, you will craft engaging, search-optimized content for Guitar Center’s major e-commerce platforms. Your primary focus will be creating and refining Product Detail Pages (PDPs), Product Listing Pages (PLPs), landing pages, and category pages.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Content Creation: Writing clear, authentic copy tailored to musicians, creators, and live sound professionals.
• AI Integration: Leveraging generative AI tools (like ChatGPT, Copy.ai, or Jasper) for ideation while maintaining rigorous human editorial oversight.
• SEO Optimization: Conducting keyword research and applying on-page SEO best practices (formatting, content hierarchy, internal linking) to drive traffic and conversions.
• Data Verification: Ensuring factual accuracy by checking product descriptions against vendor specifications and internal databases.

Qualifications & Skills

Preferred Experience:

• Proven experience in SEO writing, e-commerce content development, or copywriting.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is a plus, but not required if you have the right experience and gear knowledge.
