About the Role

Imagination Mining Co. is officially seeking a passionate, skilled, and highly energetic Content Creator — Gameplay & Collectibility to join our team in Columbia, SC. This full-time, in-person position is completely dedicated to producing premium, high-impact digital content that showcases both the strategic gameplay depth and the thrilling collectibility of our trading card game, Wonders of The First.

Your creations will serve as the heartbeat of our community channels, video networks, and social media platforms, directly helping to scale, educate, and entertain our fast-growing player base and collector audience. If you live and breathe modern TCGs, love the pure thrill of hunting down rare secret variants as much as mastering a complex competitive tournament meta, and have a natural knack for turning those exact moments into viral, must-watch video content, we want you to join our studio!

Key Responsibilities

Gameplay & Collectibility Content Production

• Strategic Feature Videos: Independently plan, film, and expertly edit engaging long-form gameplay videos, including competitive deck showcases, strategy breakdowns, and match replays.
• The Thrill of the Hunt: Create highly addictive pack opening videos, live card reveal content, and collection highlights that authentically capture the absolute hype of unboxing Wonders of The First.
• Short-Form Mastery: Ideate and execute high-velocity short-form vertical pieces (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikToks) focused on jaw-dropping gameplay interactions or rare card pulls.
• Serialized Programming: Develop and sustain serialized ongoing formats such as progressive beginner onboarding guides, meta-analysis reports, investor/collector tips, and major tournament roundups.
• Schedule Ownership: Maintain a highly consistent, predictable publishing calendar across YouTube, Instagram, and other emerging player channels.

Community Engagement & Marketing Alignment

• Campaign Synergy: Team up directly with our marketing department to sync creative content with ongoing product pipeline milestones, new set releases, and advertising campaigns.
• Community Advocacy: Collaborate closely with players to uncover trending topics, rule confusion, and community feedback to address them directly via media.
• Live Events: Represent the Wonders of The First brand directly at regional card conventions, major tournament settings, and official interactive live streams.
• Viewer Relationship Building: Engage authentically and dynamically inside comment threads and social circles to nurture a supportive, interactive fan ecosystem.

Creative Direction & Branding

• Brand Consistency: Maintain an uncompromised brand voice, elevated graphic aesthetics, and crisp audio/video quality standards across every video piece.
• Industry Innovation: Generate outside-the-box creative concepts that clearly differentiate our official channel presence from standard competitor TCG spaces.
• Algorithm Adaptation: Keep your finger on the pulse of evolving TCG trends, meta shifts, and ongoing social platform algorithm updates.

Candidate Qualifications

Required Background

• Proven Video Portfolio: 2+ years of professional or highly successful independent experience generating engaging video assets for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram.
• TCG DNA: Extensive, hands-on knowledge of modern trading card games—understanding gameplay interactions, competitive drafting/sealed/constructed formats, deck building, and the nuance of collectibility matrices.
• Technical Suite Mastery: High proficiency using premium non-linear video editors like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent professional suites.
• Thumbnail/Graphic Design: Solid practical experience with Photoshop, Canva, or related platforms to construct high-click-through-rate thumbnails.
• On-Camera Authority: Excellent verbal communication, engaging presentation flair, and a strong, friendly on-camera persona.
• Project Leadership: The organizational skill required to drive several active timelines forward and hit strict deadlines autonomously.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience playing, collecting, or running niche community content specifically for Wonders of The First.
• Background in live streaming production (Twitch/YouTube Live) utilizing broadcast applications like OBS Studio.
• Sound production experience (crisp voiceover work, clear live commentary mixing).
• Data fluency using YouTube Studio analytics or Social Blade to iteratively adapt and optimize content performance.
• A background in high-tier competitive TCG circuits or local league event coordinating.
